FAQs

Why did my comment not show up?

I manually approve comments here to avoid the rando crypto and “hot singles in your area” comments from clogging things up. Comments should be approved pretty quickly, under 24 hours for sure.

Can I retranslate to another language?

No. I edit things all the time, and sometimes I publish things at 2 AM, so my stuff inevitably has errors. Additionally, my worry is that, even with a superb translator, many things will get left out if a retranslation doesn’t reference the original, nevermind my crappy translations. Please, just don’t.

Do you take requests? Do you have a schedule?

Not really. I’m a full-time masters student, so I don’t want to commit to something. That said, if y’all see a banger, feel free to recommend it for me to read. If I like it enough, maybe I could work on it a bit. No promises, tho.

I sometimes have a schedule. Who knows if I’ll stick to it, though.

Do you take donations/money/remuneration/etc?

No, I do not. If you have any money to spare me, you should be giving it to the authors themselves. This is my hobby, not my job. I adore comments, so if you want to support me, comment under your favorite chapters.

Can I comment on typos or edits below the chapters?

Absolutely! I’m my own translator, editor, and proofreader, and loads of things can be missed before I click ‘publish’. As long as it’s something constructive or pointing out a typo, please let me know so I can fix it. If it’s a critique of the novel itself, you’re free to share your thoughts (as long as you’re civil), but be aware that I do not change anything about the plot/characters as I translate, cause that’s kind of the point of translating.

Can I join in as a translator/editor/proofreader?

Sure thing? DM me on twitter or comment below the project you’d like to join and we can hammer out the details.

I’m the author/publisher of a work. Can you take my stuff down?

Of course! I will take them down the same day.

Can I make epubs/repost your translations?

No. Of course, if you make a personal epub and don’t share it around, I’m honestly fine with that, but I really hate scrappers, epub sharers, and stuff. Don’t be a d***head, and there won’t be issues.

I’m looking at you, Wattpad users. If I catch you reposting, I’ll report you directly.

I’m a translator and I want to pick up projects you haven’t worked on in a while. Is that okay?

Legit 100% cool with me. Honestly, saves me the work. If you let me know in the comments, I’ll link to it too. If it’s a project that I have been updating more regularly, I’m also fine with someone else picking it up, but I would appreciate it you went and started from the beginning.
